Robert Oliver
I have been involved in financial services for over 30 years, working for building societies, banks and specialist lenders. I have worked directly with customers and for the last 17 years with intermediaries. This allows me to see the customer journey through the eyes of the customer, the broker and the lender.
The Dudley has a ‘can do’ attitude and we are always looking for ways to help customers secure finance and their property.
Fun Fact - I am a qualified rugby union (definitely not rugby league) referee, so watch out for the yellow and red cards!

James Green
I have worked in the financial services industry since 2006 and have held multiple positions; beginning in Savings and Investments I changed focus to intermediary mortgages in 2012 and haven’t looked back since. I joined Dudley Building Society in 2019, and more recently moved into the role of Business Development Manager. Within this role I continue to work on the foundations that the Society has set out for serving underserved markets.
Fun fact - You can usually find me on the golf course at weekends looking as though I know what I’m doing, although I definitely don’t!

Claire Guy
This new role is focused on the journey of the intermediary, from registration to completion of the mortgage application. Working closely with the BDM James Green, my goal is to create a better customer and broker journey with the Society.
Working closely with the Business Development team and understanding the journey of our partners has been key to my role, I am passionate about Dudley being 1st for service.
Fun Fact – I still love gin, but find it never really replenishes itself!

Sarah Rogers
I have been part of the Mortgage underwriting process since 2010 at a number of Lenders and still enjoy underwriting since my first day of training. I love being in a position to help people achieve their plans and do the right thing.
The Dudley caught my attention because of how they not only support the community and members but its employees too. Treating each person as an individual whether you're an employee or a member.
Fun fact –I'm actually a part qualified Mechanic. My hobby includes a classic Mini which means I need to be ready to fix the car when broken down on the motorway (which happens quite a bit!).

Amo Singh
I have worked within the financial service industry since 2013 and held a variety of positions ranging from Insurance, Banking Sales, Mortgage Services & Estate Agent (Head Office). I have been with the society since February 2020, working in the Mortgage Admin team where I use all my experience to drive the best possible service for our customers.
Fun Fact: I recently became a father to twin boys.

Tia-Louise Hickman
I have been with the Society since leaving college back in 2016, where I studied drama - still not sure if this has helped me or not with my role as a Telephone Business Development Manager. I started within the Customer Services Team, where I worked my way up to Supervisor, before deciding I fancied a new challenge, which led me to my new role.
Fun Fact: I had a 6 month sabbatical where I solo travelled around Europe, starting in Portugal and ending in Croatia, visiting a total of 32 cities/towns.

Charlene Howard
I have worked in the Mortgage industry since I was 18 and have over 20 years of experience. I’ve been working for a mortgage broker dealing with Bridging loans, second charges loans and finally started underwriting mortgages in 2016 .
I recently started working for Dudley building society and will bring all my knowledge and experience into my new role.
Fun fact – Love keeping fit and going to the gym.

Gillian Hyatt
I have worked within the financial sector for many years, mostly in customer service and administration for savings and mortgages.
My journey with Dudley began in 2016, where I worked providing customer and administrative support to our existing mortgage customer. Recently I have moved into the Business Development Team, where I will be providing support to our intermediaries, helping them understand how Dudley could assist in realising customers homeownership dreams.
Fun fact: I am a bit of a cat lady, having had 6 cats at one time– down to 4 at the moment (Garfield, Jet, Cookie and Bear).

James Garner
With over 7 years’ experience working various positions in building society’s branch network, I focused on taking my career on a mortgage path following the purchase of my first property and passing my CEMAP qualification. Joining the Dudley building society in 2021 as part of the mortgage admin team, I recently advanced to business development officer to use my mortgage knowledge to help support the mortgage brokers and improve the applicants’ journey.
Fun Fact – Spending my free time either playing, watching or dreaming of golf.

Emma Henson-Bate
Having worked within the transport industry for 10 years, I felt the time was right to change industry and learn something new. Being part of a key moment in peoples’ lives is an exciting prospect for me, especially with a company who clearly value people as much as Dudley Building Society do! I am looking forward to where life at Dudley can take me and I’m thoroughly enjoying the learning process.
Fun fact: I am a secret Drag Racing fan, venturing over to Santa Pod Raceway yearly & following the European Championships online. Got to love watching cars fly down a track at 300mph+!

Eleanor Coxhill
I have worked within the financial services sector for just over a year now. I joined the society in 2021 starting in branch where I assisted customers with their investment transactions and queries. I have recently moved into the Mortgage Admin Team, where I will be providing administrative support after a mortgage application has been submitted.
Fun Fact: I love travelling to new places. I’ve recently been to New York, and Los Angeles is next on my list.

Nigel Beach
I've worked in finance since leaving school in 1985, working in banking, insurance, pensions, and then finally settling into the world of mortgages in 1993. I've been with the Society for 7 years, with my main focus on underwriting applications to support the lending targets and home ownership aspirations of our members.
Fun fact – I keep getting compared to George Best but I’m not Irish or any good at football!

I have been a mortgage underwriter for 19 years, assessing applications for a wide range of circumstances and scenarios. I came to Dudley Building Society in 2017, and utilise my many years of experience to help bring a common sense approach to our manual underwriting.

Chanelle Williams
I have been working in finance since 1998, working in a variety of different areas such as investment customer services, collections, pension complaints to mortgage advising and business development management.
Joining Dudley in 2013, my latest role is a senior mortgage underwriter, where I train and develop new starters within the Society alongside underwriting mortgage applications. My role also includes providing onsite underwriting support to 3mC, who are a Manchester based packaging company.
Fun fact – Love travelling and exploring the world.

Laura Welch
I have worked in financial services since 2013. During this time, I have worked in a variety of roles across the mortgage journey from inception to underwriting, completions and administration of back book accounts. I joined the Society in 2019 within the mortgage administration team as their Leader. I have recently moved into underwriting where I am enjoying the challenge of drawing on my knowledge and experience, whilst learning new skills in order to provide a high quality service to our intermediary partners.
Fun fact – I love animals (especially dogs and in particular Sighthounds!) and I am also a qualified veterinary assistant.
