We went 100 Miles in May for Mind

At Dudley Building Society, we are passionate about doing our bit to support our local communities, so in May we took part in the 100 Miles in May challenge to support the charity Mind.

Mind are a charity who provide advice and support to those experiencing mental health problems, campaigning to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding.

The task challenged our walkers, especially our Governance Officer, Georgia, who embarked on a 20-mile trip from Wordsley to Bewdley and back. She stated that the views of beautiful canals and tracks certainly helped! Our branches also took part, opting to ditch the bus to commute to work by foot, finding themselves with very sore feet at times! 

As a Society we raised an amazing £523, which will contribute towards the huge £1 million total raised by the 12,885 people that took part nationwide.
