Building financial wellbeing

Supporting our communities with their own financial wellbeing is a priority of ours, specifically empowering people who want to regain a sense of control in their lives. So, we launched Dudley Prosper, a programme that is designed to make a lasting impact by supporting people to build the skills, the energy and confidence to take back control.

Supporting communities through our branches

Each of our branches serves as an important part of its community, so we take an active role in supporting our communities wherever we can.

Some examples of our recent community support in branch are:

  • We launched our Accessible Space Initiative, offering space at our Dudley branch for local charities to use free of charge. Local charity, Life Centre Debt Advice, made use of this space as a venue to provide face to face debt advice.
  • At our Bridgnorth branch, we’ve hosted the charity Home Instead, who offered drop-in sessions for carers to discuss their personal and financial wellbeing.
  • We also annually host Macmillan Coffee Mornings in our branch, inviting members of the community to come in to have a coffee, cake and chat, whilst donating to an important cause.
