If you have a business savings passbook, you can choose to register for our online service. This lets you track your balances, monitor your transactions and contact us. 

To register, all you need to tell us is your;

  1. Name, date of birth and postcode
  2. Roll number or account number
  3. Current mobile number

How do I open and manage my business savings account?

You can open a business savings account via one of our branches, by post or through a business savings online application. Incorporated business customers will be able to apply to open a savings account online, and view their accounts online, expanding our reach and enabling funding growth. 

Please note: All accounts are Passbook based 

How do I make a deposit to my business savings account?

You can make deposits to your business savings account in several ways, including:

  • BACS transfers
  • Cheques
  • Cash (in branches)
  • Standing orders 

Can I switch my business savings account from another service?

Unfortunately, we don't currently offer product switches for business savings accounts. 

How do I withdraw from my business savings account?

If you want to withdraw from your business savings account, you can do so by using the following methods:

  • By cheque 
  • Cash withdrawals at branch 
  • Faster Payments 
  • CHAPS 

Do our business savings accounts have any fees or charges?

We don't apply any fees or charges to open a business savings account with us. 

Can I use a savings account for a small business?

Yes, you can open a business savings account with us if you're running a small business.  Our accounts are open to sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies of all sizes and structures. 

Is there a minimum deposit required to open a business savings account?

Yes, most of our business savings products require a minimum deposit of £1,000. However, our Business Saver Issue requires a lower minimum deposit of £250. 

What are the benefits of saving money as a business?

There are many benefits as to why you should save money as a business. 

By building up your business savings, you can:

  • Plan ahead for improvements to your business, like products, equipment or office space. 
  • Keep a cash reserve in case unexpected costs arise.
