Shifnal Welcomes New Pop-up Financial Services from Dudley Building Society
Dudley Building Society is bringing face-to-face financial services back to Shifnal with the launch of a pop-up location in the heart of the town.
For some time, Shifnal residents and businesses have been without access to in-person financial services, following the closure of local high street branches. The community voiced a strong demand for a solution, and Dudley Building Society, together with Love Shifnal and Shifnal Town Council, has responded by creating a welcoming place where people can once again get the support they need.
From Monday 8th September, the pop-up will open every Monday between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm at the Old Fire Station, Shrewsbury Road, Shifnal, TF11 8AQ. The service will focus on helping people make the most of their savings, manage their accounts, and receive guidance on online banking. The emphasis is on personal, face-to-face conversations that can make a real difference to the financial wellbeing of the community.
Simon Dodd, Head of Retail at Dudley Building Society, said: ‘We know that having someone to speak to in person about your finances is invaluable, especially when it comes to planning for the future. Our aim is to make banking accessible again, support people with their savings, and truly be part of the local community.’
