Most pension types considered

We take various pension income types into account, applying the appropriate level for each to support a fair affordability assessment.

Self employed income considered

We consider self employed income where appropriate, helping support affordability for applicants borrowing into retirement.

No upper age limit for Capital & Interest

There is no maximum age restriction when applying for a C & I mortgage, giving applicants freedom to borrow later in life.

Flexible borrowing options

We offer up to 80% LTV when lending into retirement and 70% in retirement, with a flexible interest-only option requiring no minimum income or equity.

Income booster available

Our income booster solution is available for retirement lending, allowing additional applicant’s income to support affordability, including non‑family members, with up to four incomes considered.

Range of capital repayment vehicles considered

We consider a variety of repayment strategies, including pension‑based options, where they are fully evidenced and sustainable into retirement.
