|Early Repayment Charge (ERC):||3% in the first three years. ERC can be waived during the three year period if the customer returns to the UK and wishes to transfer to a retention product with the Society. This would be subject to proof of contract end date and return to the UK.|
|Overpayments:||10% of the advance amount can be repaid per annum for three years without incurring a charge. A 3% charge is due on any amount repaid that exceeds 10% per annum.|
The mortgage must be repaid on either a capital & interest or interest only basis.
A mortgage of £144,000 payable over 7 years on our discounted rate at 1.0% below the Society’s Residential Standard Variable Rate of 4.99% (variable) for the mortgage term of 7 years would require 84 monthly payments of £1,967.65 plus one initial interest payment amount of £487.98.
The total amount payable would be £167,935.58 made up of the loan amount plus interest (£21,770.58) and Arrangement fee (£1,440), Valuation fee (£450), CHAPS fee (£25), Application Fee (£125) and Discharge fee (£125).
