Payment Protection Insurance (PPI)

We’re here to support our members. If you think you've been mis-sold mortgage Payment Protection Insurance (PPI) - it's easy and free to complain.

There is a deadline of 29 August 2019 to complain about the sale of a PPI policy. After this date you will no longer be able to complain. This deadline has been scheduled by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) – the regulator of financial institutions.

If you feel that you have been mis-sold PPI you can make a complaint by completing the Financial Ombudsman Service’s form and send your completed form to us at our Principal Office.

Have you complained about the mis-selling of PPI already?


  • If your complaint was rejected you may be able to make a new complaint based on the commission that was earned.
  • If your complaint was successful and you were refunded some or all of your money you are not eligible to receive any additional compensation as the refund given will have included all of the commission received.


  • You should think about whether you may have been mis-sold PPI. We will consider the commission that was earned as part of a mis-selling complaint even if you do not mention it.
